Dr. Mark Workman joined the Energy Research Partnership as an Executive Analyst in April 2010. Mark has undertaken ERP project work on Bio-energy Issues and Earth Systems Science, International Emission Abatement Opportunities and more recently, Resource Use Strategies.
Previously, Mark trained as a coastal oceanographer and Royal Engineer Officer. He has research experience in oceanographic issues related to the impact of extreme events on coarse clastic sediment transport, undertaken military operational tours and extreme and high risk expeditions all over the world as well as worked in West Africa and Emerging Asia as a medical services and security consultant. He is developing an expertise in energy systems, innovation, disruptive technology development and resource constraints and has published on a broad breadth of topics. Mark is in the process of producing peer reviewed papers from his research at Imperial College, London.
