Ali specialises in finance for energy and environment. He is the Founder Director of Turquoise International (see below) through which he is also the Fund Manager for the Low Carbon Innovation Fund (LCIF), Chairman of Controlled Power Technologies and adviser to a number of other companies developing clean/efficient technologies or renewable energy projects. Previously, he worked in energy project finance and privatisation at Close Brothers, Flemings and Price Waterhouse. He holds Masters and Bachelors degrees from the London School of Economics.
