David is Market Director in Atkins UK and Europe Energy business for power generation assets covering nuclear and conventional power assets, transmission and distribution and energy storage since 2006.

David is both a Chartered Mechanical Engineer and a Chartered Scientist, with a strong general power generation background (nuclear and conventional) and expertise in engineering metallurgy, boilers, turbines and rotating plant technology.

He has worked on and led power and petrochemical plant projects involving asset management, plant life extension, root cause failure investigations, repair procedures, auditing of overhauls, damage and defect assessments and shutdown management.

Over the last few years he has focussed on business leadership and management.
