David Grant is director of the University of Nottingham’s Energy Institute. He was Director of University of Nottingham’s Beacon in propulsion Futures and Head of Advanced Materials. He has a wide range of interests in energy materials with particular emphasis on solid state storage of hydrogen with his international renown research group. He is an expert IEA  TCP Task 51 on Hydrogen Materials for Energy Storage.
